About this job
Seriously, can you work from anywhere a month of the year? Do they send you to Milan for your CPD where you work? You’d get to do both of those things if you worked here. For a month you really can work Anywhere! You could literally be living out of a hut in the Antarctic. Lots of people prefer Mediterranean Villa’s, but still, the option is there. Are you also constantly progressing right now? It’s not just CPD they take seriously here. You’ll be enrolled in management training and feel like you’re working towards the next step. In fact, you will actually be developing IRL. There’s always an event, a CPD, a picnic or a do’ of some sort that you’ll always be looking forward to. If you’re not looking forward to those you’ll look forward to an annual bonus which is more than worth having. (Comes in handy for entire months abroad) You might even be looking forward to actually going to work. You won’t have any sort of manager watching everything you do. You’ll run your own day to day and you’ll probably find the crazy range of building types, materials, sectors, contractors and consultants quite different in breadth and depth than you would anywhere else outside of the AJ top 3. It’s 3 days in the office with plenty of flexibility on start and finish times. There’s up to 28 days holiday after not too much service. There's even a really strongly enhanced maternity or shared parental leave. What you’ll be doing This isn’t one of the BIM Coordination jobs where you’re also an Architect or Technologist. It’s a pure BIM job.- Day to day model management and Quality Assurance.
- Coordinating across disciplines ensuring the models are integrated.
- Maintaining adherence to BIM Execution Plans.
- Managing data in the shared environment.
- Some technical support and training.
- Some experience in a BIM role already. It doesn’t have to be a 100% BIM job.
- Experience in an Architectural Practice or Architectural environment in a multidisciplinary.
- Revit is the chosen software, so knowledge of this is essential.
