About this job

As you will learn , this is a very selfish Architectural Practice. You'll get a lot of flexibility there, loads of WFH, pretty good salary and lots of extra little benefits. But it's just a smoke screen. The reality is, that you wouldn’t be as happy working there if they didn’t offer you any 5 days out of 10 working from home (and you can lump them all together), and a brilliant flexitime system that allows you to work 6 hour days at will. You then wouldn’t get to pick your kids up from school whenever you fancy or wouldn’t get to see more nature, to go to the gym, binge Netflix or get away early on Friday. They’ve even got the nerve to constantly promote a top end CPD programme to everyone, support for all professional charterships, and professional development plans targeted at getting you promoted up the ladder in the best way possible. The vast majority of Senior Management got promoted from within in this way. You’ll find that they’re refreshingly good at getting Senior Architects up to Associate level. And Associate really means something here. Salary wise, a very big step up in responsibility and it comes with even more flexibility. And who in this world wants to work overtime constantly? Nobody does in this selfish business. (Wait for it, honestly they are). The work that is produced is also higher quality. And they’ve done some really notable projects. Meaning happier clients, more pride from the employees, and probably more money for the business. What a bunch of awfully selfish people they are. Handing out incentives and extra benefits like sweets, just to make the company more successful. The absolute monsters are B Corp certified too, and it’s really obvious that they care about sustainability and the environment as well. What you’ll be doing Researching and implementing properly innovative design solutions. Integrating sustainability practices into design decisions. Leading the Design process from Concept to detailed design. Running jobs on site and through delivery and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams. Working closely with clients in a few different sectors from Student Resi and High rise to Commercial, Retail and Logistics. Working on and with your team using Revit. What you’ll need 5 Years or more experience as a qualified Architect. Experience in a client facing position. Can use Revit. All rounder skillset. No CV? Just send your old one or show me your LinkedIn page. Message Matt Kirk on LinkedIn or Email Matt@theannoyingrecruiter.com for more information.
